I have the Openoffice.org 3 but I see newer versions like 3.3 and 3.4. Some say Apache openoffice.org. What version is best to use and do you have a link to download that version? Thanks once again.

Simply put, the OpenOffice.org website has moved to the Apache Server Foundation and the OOO code was donated to the Apache Incubator Foundation for continued development.
My practice is to update to each new stable release as most of them reflect security updates. Functionality rarely changes. The download for v. 3.4.0 can be found here: http://www.openoffice.org/download/other.html

So Oracle takes it over, ruins the product, and then kindly donates it to the open source community? That's kind of them...
